WalMart Suspends Ammo Orders Pending Gun Control Decision
WalMart reportedly has stopped selling ammunition ahead of the Obama administration’s anticipated gun control recommendations to Congress — and uncertainty over what new laws may be coming.
According to the Investment Watch blog, WalMart Corporation will no longer place new ammunition orders pending “the upcoming decision on the Second Amendment.”

Shumer asked that businesses voluntarily stop selling guns and ammo until the new laws are written.

I bought a box of 9mm just a few days ago at the local Walmart. They were pretty much sold out of every caliber and only had 6 boxes of 9mm left. I doubt if an ammo ban will be part of what Obama has planned, so why Walmart isn’t restocking is makes no sense, unless they plan to stop selling for their own reasons.
